Things have been a little quiet for us recently and we want to get the Outdoor Info website back to it's previous peak of popularity. So we are ripping up our price list and making all of our advertising services completely free of charge. No hidden catches, no small print - just totally free advertising until the end of March 2012. For further details visit our How to advertise page. 1st March 2011 We're delighted to announce new reduced charges for our 'Jobs' advertising service. We recognise the challenging economic conditions facing many outdoor organisations and businesses and have managed to make savings on our own overheads so that we can pass them on to our clients. Jobs advertising starts from as little as £20 for a 14 day advert, including an automatic emailing of all the latest jobs, direct to our expanding list of potential recruits. Our 'Jobs Season Ticket' provides unlimited use of our 'Jobs' advertising service for 12 calendar months and is now available for only £150 a year. We've also refined a few little bits of code in the 'backend' of the site to improve the way clients edit and update their own adverts. 1st January 2011 COMPLETELY FREE FACILITIES, CLUBS, SHOPS AND EVENTS ADVERTISING - No obligation and no catches, we just want to show you how good our new site is! Click here for further information. It was almost a decade ago that we launched the first incarnation of this website using the website address www.outdoor-solutions.co.uk. As outdoor instructors ourselves, we saw potential on the internet for a website that could bring together lots of information on all things outdoors. Initially covering jobs, courses and instructors, our site soon expanded as we added extra features and content. Over time, we crept up the search engine lists to gain a prominent position in the top 5 of almost all our keyword searches and achieved over 2.5 million annual hits on the site annually. More recently though it became apparent that website technology has moved on somewhat and it was time for a bit of a change. So we set about looking to see what we could do to improve our services, whilst also keeping in mind all the great features that had made us so popular in the first place. And because it seemed like a good idea to make a number of changes at the same time, we thought it was about time to get ourselves a new name too! So here we are, with all the best bits of our previous incarnation but lots of new features to make us even better than before . . .
